Foodbank

Foodbank
Welcome to homepage of the Foodbank on the Sharing Life Trust Website. Here you will find information about how the Foodbank operates in the Thame area. There will also be regular updates on the most needed items.

  • There are families in Thame and surroundings who are experiencing real food poverty.
  • Sharing Life Trust is working closely with other local agencies, including Thame Churches United, Thame Town Council, Red Kite Children’s Centre and Citizens Advice Bureau, to help.
  • We are setting up a small foodbank that can distribute food essentials to families and individuals in real need.
  • We will be putting together 3-day emergency packs that can be dis- tributed to people who are referred to us.
  • Everyone in the Thame area is invited to support the Foodbank by taking the Foodbank shopping list with them when they go shopping.
  • Using the shopping list you simply buy one or two items from the list and arrange to drop them off at one of the collection points. Items will be collected regularly from these and taken to the central storage building where the Foodbank packs will be prepared.
