Every charity and good cause is after your money! It's such a struggle to work out which ones to support. So we're going to do something different - we're not going to ask you for your money.

Sure, we need it - but we're not going to ask for it.

We'll just tell you what a difference it's made to those of us who fund Sharing Life that we can know that we're working with people we're in community with. Even in Africa, even in India.

Our overseas partners are people we know and care about, and who have specific projects that we can support which will make a huge difference to people living in extreme conditions - of drought and famine, of violent injury or terminal illness, in refugee camps or on the streets. These are the people who most need our financial investment.

We know how important every penny we can send them is, and this inspires us to do what we can to raise the money.

In the local area, where there is not the abject poverty we have witnessed in India and East Africa, we can still help people recover their dignity and be restored to contributing members of their community - maybe for the want of a bit of a hand with something they can't cope with.

Building up a local community is in everyone's interest, because it make for a better place to live for all. But it's your money...
